So it's 2008 (or will be so in a short few hours) and Pop, distilled over the years, is a revolutionary reaction. Everyone must have their own modern perception, their own story with their own relations and passions, everyone has to realise their own Pop narrative and let it emerge, because Pop and poetry is nothing if not subjective and individual, hit or miss.

Pop in '08 is a reduction back into life shorn of all modern bourgeois notions. Pop is freely longing, feeling, dreams, hop, fate and no questions. It's about direct relationship, poignancy without the mediator that is ideas. Ideas are bourgious and have no beauty and relevance. Poetry is of the moment, a kiss before the ceaseless flow of ideas. Pop in '08 then is the property of the modern outsider, the one fuelled by an anger that's led to good places, where a word and a verse can be profound. It's your own personal revolution. Don't try to grab it or hold it, just let it play.
