The Mentalists

Wow, I should really be writing a review of this, but a blog piece will have to do for now. The Mentalists at Chapter Arts Centre on Sunday made me jump cartwheels inside, spinning Pop-punk nuggets empowered by smiles and kicking Jo Whiley right where it hurts (her “industry soul”). The Mentalists are Elastica’s guitar pop cool and Le Tigre’s electro feminist balls tied together with jumble sale mischief and glamour. How could you resist?
