Stolen Recordings can be relied on to discover nuggets in between genres, with a disregard for strictly defined indie market places. That’s why they’re cool as fuck. Jeff the Brotherhood are another gem to get a release on the label. They’ve been described as "kraut punk," "psychedelic grunge" and "noise pop," have drawn comparisons to Wiper, early Sonic Youth and, epically, to Hawkwind, but their sound and demeanour is all their own. JTB take you into ROCK. They do it with a bubblegum charm and genuine ROCK devilment. Their sound is a shimmer which gets you, drilling, beautifully big guitars fluttering like tanks or butterflies and drums exploding like grenades in Thurston Moore‘s pocket. They’re Queens of the Stone age with balls. Watch out.
