New Radio Slot!

So Pop Miwsig seems to have itself a slot on Pennsylvanian college radio, thanks to the generally ace and fun duo of The Bossettes , Connie and Kate. They got in touch as bands generally do on Myspace, which prompted me to get in touch back, as they have a particularly fine line in sparklingly quaint Pop, and then they said they happen to do a radio show, at which point I said I'd send some tracks across via the miracle of email, and hey-presto, a segment is born across the pond!

Last week's show featured Silence at Sea and The Loves, but this week in relation to Connie's idea to form a cloud-watching society, I thought I'd pick something quite ethereal, and a little older, so what better than Ooberman's Shorley Wall? The Connie and Kate show is broadcast on wnte.com every Wednesday night, 1am - 3am UK time, they play a great line in old and new indiepop (last week's show had Tullycraft, Tilly and the Wall and even Lesley Gore), and it's really well worth tuning in anyway, if you can afford to stay up through the small hours... It was a totally new phenomenon to me to hear new indiepop actually going out over the radio airwaves.
